Installing Subversion

If Subversion will be used only as a client, one can compile it from sources or find an installation bundle for their operating system. If it will be used as a server handling request to a repository, one has to decide what access scheme will be used. Since this document concentares on the http:// and https:// access schemes, we provide pointers on how to install apache as well. However, since we cannot list all of the OSes and all the nuances, the ultimate installation reference is the documentation for your OS.
